By the time I decided nursing was the career for me, I had five children and could not find a clear path to achieve my goal. I am in awe of healthcare workers and the difference that they make in every community. Because of this, I generate great personal happiness by being able to support professionals and the facilities that they work in by taking some stress off so they can focus on the care of patients and families.
I am passionate about the healthcare industry simply because of the people I
get to work with. Not just Lucy and Brad, who I have learned so much from, but the Nurses – Especially. I am truly inspired and humbled of what these incredible humans do day in and day out. I believe in giving back to this community and showing my appreciation by creating a warm, supportive, personal and quality experience for both our candidates and our clients.
They say that when you are doing what you are meant to be doing, it doesn’t feel like work! For me, every day is different. I meet, learn, and problem solve with creative, smart people – and I’m inspired by a healthcare community that serves others selflessly. Giving back has always been my happy place. My passion of volunteering at Children’s Hospitals has only deepened the level of respect I have for the healthcare industry as a whole. Each and every day I strive to help others and make as much of a positive impact on each and every person I encounter.

There are few professions that impact the community so directly, and healthcare happens to be one of those careers. We’ve all had our personal ties to healthcare and remember those that have helped us in our times of need, just like we remember our teachers growing up. My goal is to be a recruitment partner, providing honesty and transparency to our candidates as they navigate the process. I find so much joy in the ability to form lasting relationships with these leaders and find inspiration in their accomplishments.
Losing my mother to cancer as a young adult had a profound trajectory on my career path and desire to serve. The need for strong leaders within the healthcare industry for our communities is more prevalent now than ever before. I am so grateful to work with these individuals as they drive moral, ethical, and quality healthcare in our facilities throughout the country. They inspire me every day, and I am so grateful that my chosen career path allows me to give back to the leaders and clinicians that have made such a positive impact on my life.
Creating memories and experiences for the people I care about has always been a top priority of mine and a huge part of my life. I started my career creating memories for the Walt Disney Company as a character performer and attended numerous charity and volunteering events in the healthcare industry, but I knew I wanted to make a bigger difference. Hireup is the perfect fit, based on our strive to understand our client’s and candidate’s needs and focusing on empathy and compassion while doing so. With everything that has happened recently in the world, nothing is more fulfilling than being able to match our healthcare leaders to the perfect role. It not only makes a difference in their lives and mine, but in the communities that they go to as well. Being able to help change lives with incredible work opportunities is an amazing feeling, and I feel incredibly grateful to do what I do with such an inspiring company.
Healthcare is an essential profession that ensures individuals have access to the medical treatments and resources they need to maintain their physical and mental health. As a former teacher, I have always been passionate about building connections and helping others. Now, having the opportunity to work with healthcare leaders who inspire me is truly fulfilling. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to support the professionals who provide vital care for our communities. My goal is to provide our interim leaders with the best possible experience and support to help them succeed in their assignments. I am proud to be a part of a team that helps to bring the best leaders to the healthcare organizations that need them the most. I am grateful that my transition from teaching has allowed me to continue making a positive impact in our communities through healthcare.
Right leaders in the right positions has always been critically important for hospitals but even more so now as hospitals determine their new normal following a traumatic and difficult prolonged period of dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic. When key leaders leave their roles or the organization, expectations, responsibilities, and deliverables remain. Quick transitions or unplanned vacancies are no match for the Hireup team! They are available, communicate intentionally and honestly, and provide a consultative approach that I truly value. Having the right leaders in place is critical, and so is having the right strategic partner. I am always pleased by who they deliver – and how!
It has abundantly clear throughout this pandemic that expert leaders are essential. We will continue to require expert leaders as we navigate a dynamic and complex healthcare environment post- pandemic. At BJH, our goal is to attract talented leaders skilled at supporting our exceptional caregivers, leading change, supporting innovation, while making sure the unique needs of our patients, their families, and the community are met. This is an exciting time for us! And, because we are clear about where we are headed, we need partners who understand our strategic direction, will listen, consult, communicate, and be agile as we accelerate our growth and value to the community. The [Hireup] team has saved my life many times over the years when I had a critical leadership vacancy.
